Those of you who’ve heard me speak about covers know that I call the designers cover fairies. They’re very talented. Recently the designers at HarperCollins Books Australia created an animation of the 153-layer Photoshop construction for my book, Keeping up Appearances.
Christine and Darren sourced a photo of the old mechanic’s building in Newstead, Victoria to act as a town hall for the rough layout. Then, using it as a shell, the team reconstructed the scene, replacing most of the details with new images and details.
