What a year it’s been, so much to be grateful for and yet the shadow of terrible world events and even some closer to home linger over us. We can only do our best to help those in need in whatever way is possible – it can be any act of kindness, as bounteous as money, as thoughtful as prayer or as simple as a smile.
It makes me extra grateful for family and friends in my life and the extension of that friendship to all I’ve met at fabulous events around the country or corresponded with via email or social media in my writing life.
